No Objection Certificate (NOC)

Why is NOC Required?

Individuals planning to transfer their vehicle registration from one state to another must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC). The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) requires this certificate before approving vehicle registration transfer and issuing necessary clearances.

Where to Apply?

Apply to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Police Control Room, Near Lal Bahadur Stadium, Hyderabad, for clearance regarding traffic violations.
Apply separately to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Detective Department, Central Crime Station, Police Control Room, Lal Bahadur Stadium, Hyderabad, for criminal record verification.

Procedure to Obtain NOC

Step 1: Submit a written application to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Hyderabad for traffic violation clearance.
Step 2: Apply to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Detective Department, Hyderabad along with:
  • Xerox copy of the Vehicle RC Book
  • ₹100 e-Challan receipt
  • Personal appearance of the applicant
Step 3: Produce the original RC Book while collecting the NOC.
Step 4: Submit the obtained NOC at the concerned RTA Office along with the required forms to transfer the vehicle registration to another state.
