Why School NOC permission is required?

In order to maintain smooth free flow of Traffic, NOC from Traffic Police is required as per the following norms of the Government.

• PARKING AREA: G.O. Ms. No. 86/2006, dt: 03-03-2006 of MA&UD, Govt of AP
• PLAY AREA : G.O. Ms.No. 88/2006, dt: 07-07-2008 of Education (PS-2) Department
• ACCOMMODATION : G.O. Ms.No.41/2006 of Education (PS-2) Department

(Note: They must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Law and Order Police, the Fire Department, and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC))

Whom to apply for permission for NOC?

All the HODs and principals of Hyderabad City limits Schools shall apply requisition to the District Educational Officer, Hyderabad District (DEO, Hyderabad District).

Why they apply for permission?

• If a new school is established (or) starts functioning
• Extension of classes
• Renewal of school (every 10 years)

What is the procedure to apply for NOC?

All Heads of Departments (HODs) and Principals of schools within Hyderabad city limits shall submit requisitions to the District Educational Officer, Hyderabad District (DEO, Hyderabad). The DEO will issue letters to the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad; Additional Commissioner/Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Hyderabad; the Fire Department; and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) for issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs). The concerned departments shall furnish the required information to the DEO for further necessary action.

Documents needed to obtain NOC

• Fire NOC
• GHMC – Sanitary certificate
• Lease document/Sale deed of the school
• Parking photos
• Self-affidavit from school principal
• Building stability certificate
• GHMC Ground permission (If school has no playground)
