Traffic Conditions

The organizers shall ensure that the event does not obstruct the free flow of vehicular traffic and pedestrians on adjoining roads.

Adequate parking arrangements shall be made within the premises or at an approved alternative location.

Parking of vehicles on the carriageway, footpath, junctions or other locations causing traffic obstruction shall not be permitted.

Adequate volunteers/security personnel shall be deployed for regulating the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.

Entry and exit gates shall be separately regulated wherever necessary based on the expected crowd.

Adequate traffic signages/directional boards and barricades, wherever required, shall be provided as directed by the Traffic Police.

At least 3/4th of the carriageway shall be kept free for general traffic wherever the event is held adjacent to a public road and road-side traffic is affected.

No unauthorized stage, dais, barricade, stall, vehicle or equipment shall be placed on the carriageway or footpath.

In the event of VIP/VVIP movement, the organizers and their volunteers/security personnel shall strictly follow the instructions and traffic regulations issued by the Police/Traffic Police.

Emergency access for ambulances, fire services and police shall be kept clear throughout the event.

The organizers shall strictly adhere to the permitted date and timings.

The organizers shall comply with all directions issued by the Traffic Police from time to time.
INDOOR
Indoor Entertainment
Indoor Event Traffic Assessment

For events conducted entirely indoors, the major traffic assessment shall be based on the following factors:

Expected Attendance

Assessment of expected audience and crowd size.

Parking Capacity

Availability and capacity of parking facilities.

Entry / Exit Capacity

Capacity and management of entry and exit points.

Queue Management

Proper management of pedestrian queues and crowd movement.

Traffic Impact

Assessment of traffic impact on adjoining roads.

Emergency Access

Emergency access shall remain clear and unobstructed.

The organizers shall strictly comply with all traffic management directions issued by the Traffic Police and ensure that the event is conducted within the permitted date and timings.
